Can you spare a few hours a month to help the next generation of young golfers at Monifieth?

We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in assisting our PGA Professionals and Junior coaches during the Monifieth Junior Golf Academy coaching sessions.

Why volunteer?

I am sure you will agree that golf is a truly amazing game which can bring many benefits especially if you have the right support around you as a junior golfer. The Monifieth Junior Golf Academy is working hard to promote junior golf in Monifieth and to give all children in the area an opportunity to learn and play this great game.

We already have a small group of volunteers who have helped enormously over the past few seasons, but more assistance is needed as we work to expand the coaching programme. These children will be the next generation of Golf Club members at Monifieth and this is your chance to encourage and support them.

What is involved?

We know your time is valuable. The more local club members who get involved, the less time each person will have to dedicate during the season. Sessions currently take place on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternooons. We hope volunteers will be able to commit to a minimum of 2 sessions a month. You will experience a high level of satisfaction and reward from watching these amazing, young golfers improve and develop each week.
